SMILE & WAVE is Henrik Ljungqvist’s music production disguise, creating everything from soft minimalistic tunes to euphoric landscapes always with a touch of poetic vibes. Henrik is one half of the 130+ million streaming band JUNG and frontman in the now major signed indie band Join The Riot. He is a sensitively energetic songwriter with a love for classic singersongwriting a la Bob Dylan, Springsteen, Beatles to modern alternative, club and disco rock in the likes of Bon Iver, Daft Punk and Empire Of The Sun. 

His latest success includes double platinum certified single “Let Him Go” feat Clara Mae, platinum certified singles “Wasteland” and “Falling Free”, Gold certified “Giants”, “Follow Your Heart and debut album “Dreamers”, top 10 radio hits and TV performances at SWEDISH IDOL and TV4 Nyhetsmorgon. Since 2014 Henrik has worked with brands such as Absolut Vodka, Volkswagen, Levi’s, Cheap Monday, Swedish Embassy, Comviq, HBO, Netflix, director Dave McCary (in Hollywood cinematic “Brigsby Bear”), Goodhouse Film etc.
